Background
On November 11th, 1918, Germany and the Allies signed an Armistice which is a truce for them to stop fighting. After the war had ended, the Allies gathered to discuss the peace treaty they would sign, but the problem was Germany and Austria-Hungary weren't invited. They were only allowed to present a response to the treaty instead, but their responses were mostly ignored by the Allies. The people that determined the terms of the treaty were called the "Big Three", which is the British Prime Minister Lloyd George, French Prime Minister Frances Clemenceau, and the United States President Woodrow Wilson. Each of them had their own desire, Frances Clemenceau wanted Germany to pay for the war, he wanted them to get stripped of their land, industry and armed forces. Woodrow Wilson wrote a plan which is called the Fourteen Points, he wanted the armed forces of every nation to be reduced.
